🇨🇱 Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2026 Participants Announced

The artists who are set to compete in the Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2026 have been revealed by the contest organisers.

Artists from across the globe have been announced as participants in the 65th edition of the competition. The 2026 edition of Viña del Mar International Song Festival will be the 65th edition of the contest held. It is formed of two competitive contests, the International Contest featuring performers of popular music competing and the folklore competition. The contest is being held between February 22 and 27.

In each contest, six songs will be selected to compete in the contest, one from Chile and five from across the globe. The songs have been selected by a jury from an open song submissions process which was held earlier this year.

Folklore Contest

  • Argentina – Campedrinos – “La Zamba”
  • Chile – A los 4 vientos – “Valoración”
  • Colombia – Rebolú – “Los Herederos”
  • Ecuador – Brenda – “Capullito”
  • Mexico – Majo Cornejo – “Ningún Color Tiene Dueño”
  • Spain – María Peláe – “Que Vengan a Por Mi”

Spain is competing in the Folklore contest for the first time, while Colombia (2020) and Ecuador (2013) return to the folklore contest.

International Contest

  • Chile – Sondelvalle – “El Ciclo”
  • Dominican Republic – Johnny Sky – “Call on Me”
  • Estonia – Vanilla Ninja – “Ready to Go”
  • Italy – Chiara Grispo – “Grazie, A(d)dio”
  • Mexico – Trex – “La Ruta Correcta”
  • Spain – Antoñito Molina – “Me Prometo”

Estonia returns to the contest for the first time since its debut in 2008, with Vanilla Ninja competing for a second time; they previously finished in the top three. The Dominican Republic is back after last competing in 1998.
