With just a week to go, we caught up with Leonardo Giovannangeli, who will represent Italy at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

We spoke to Leonardo about several topics, including: who his biggest musical idols are, his Voice Kids journey, how he felt when he found out he would go to Junior Eurovision, and where he would go in the world for just one day.

We wish Leonardo Giovannangeli the best of luck competing in Junior Eurovision and thank him and the Italian delegation for their time.

Leonardo Giovannangeli is an 11-year-old singer from Rome who rose to fame in 2024 through his participation in The Voice Kids Italia, where he reached the final. In 2023, he also competed in Sanremo Junior, a music competition for solo singers aged 6 to 15. Beyond music, Leonardo is passionate about singing, dancing (inspired by his greatest idol Michael Jackson), acting, and wrestling.

The song that Leonardo will perform in Tbilisi is called โ€œRockstarโ€. It was written and composed by Claudia Zanecchia and Giancarlo Prandelli. Leonardo will perform in slot number 12 in the final of Junior Eurovision 2025.
