Suspilne recorded an audience of 618,000 viewers for the final of the Ukrainian national final for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
A record 618,000 viewers watched the final of Natsvidbir na Dytiache Yevrobachennia – 2025, as Ukraine selected their act for Suspilne. The audience for the national final was a 26% increase on its 2024 final, and saw a viewing share of 2.88%, the largest audience share for a Ukrainian national final in the past decade. Overall, the program was a success for Suspilne, drawing an audience three times higher than normal in its scheduled slot on Suspilne Kultura.
The selection also broke records for the number of votes cast to determine the winner. 190,071 Ukrainians cast at least one vote through the Diia app to select the Ukrainian representative for the 23rd Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The results were as follows (jury + public voting):
- Likeriia Chyrva – “Ne taka yak vsi” (Not like everyone else) 5 points (1+4) 5th
- Olha Nesterko – “Zozulia” (Cuckoo) 7 points (2+5) =3th
- Sofiia Nersesian – “Motanka” (Rag doll) 11 points (5+6) 1st
- Zlata Ivaniv and Vladyslav Vasytskyi – “Zorianyi chas” (Starry time) 8 points (6+2) 2nd
- Vsevolod Skryma – “Young heart” 4 points (3+1) 6th
- Anhelina Hlohus – “Moye sertse” (My heart) 7 points (4+3) =3th
Artem Kotenko represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with “Hear Me Now”. He finished 3rd with 203 points, receiving 12 points from the juries of North Macedonia and Poland. This was Ukraine’s best result and first top 3 finish since 2013.

Ukraine debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has competed in the contest ever since. To date, Ukraine has only won the competition once. In 2012, Anastasiya Petryk won in Amsterdam with the song “Nebo”. She scored 138 points, including eight sets of 12 points. Ukraine has hosted the contest twice, the first time in 2009 and the second in 2013 following their victory in Amsterdam.
