Tonight: 🇺🇦 Ukraine Selects for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025

Tonight, Ukraine will select their entry for Junior Eurovision 2025, while selections for the contest continue in Georgia and Ireland.

🇺🇦 Ukraine: Natsvidbir na Dytiache Yevrobachennia – 2025 – Final – 17:00 CEST

Six acts are competing this evening to represent Ukraine at the 23rd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Following hundreds of applications and weeks of Star School, Ukraine will select their 20th entry in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Tonight’s final is being hosted by Timur Miroshnichenko, Masha Kondratenko, and Anna Tulyeva. The results will be decided by a jury (50%) and public voting (50%).  The Ukrainian public can vote for their favourite through the Diia app. The first phase of voting opened on Friday, and the second phase will commence during the live broadcast. The jury members are:

  • Vlad Darwin (singer and songwriter)
  • Natela Chkhartishvili-Zatsarynna (general producer of the music TV channels M1 and M2)
  • Michelle Andrade (singer)

The running order for the final is:

  1. Likeriia Chyrva – “Ne taka yak vsi” (Not like everyone else)
  2. Olha Nesterko – “Zozulia” (Cuckoo)
  3. Sofiia Nersesian – “Motanka” (Rag doll)
  4. Zlata Ivaniv and Vladyslav Vasytskyi – “Zorianyi chas” (Starry time)
  5. Vsevolod Skryma – “Young heart”
  6. Anhelina Hlohus – “Moye sertse” (My heart)

Also performing as guest acts are:

  • Artem Kotenko – “Hear Me Now” – Represented Ukraine at Junior Eurovision 2024 placing third. He will be joined by a gospel choir.
  • Svitlana Tarabova & BERESTOVYI – “Spy, solodkyy kotyk”
  • Alyona Alyona – “Tato” – Represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2024
  • Ziferblat – “Bird of Pray” – Represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2025
  • Masha Kondratenko – Will perform a megamix of her songs

🇬🇪 Georgia: Ranina 2025 Round Three – Show Two – 20:00 CEST

The first episode of round three of Ranina 2025 takes place tonight, with five singers returning to the stage.

The third round of Ranina 2025 commences tonight with the acts performing Georgian folk songs. They will be scored by a three-member jury, which consists of permanent judges and a guest judge. The permanent judges are Dato Evgenidze and Nato Metonidze. The judges award up to 10 points for each criterion: voice, performance, art and collaboration.

The five singers competing tonight are:

  • Anita Abgariani
  • Sandro Abesadze
  • Lazare Kapanadze
  • Nia Lashkhia
  • Mariam Muzashvili

Ranina is held across multiple stages. In the first phase, there are four rounds of performances with each round focused on a different style. The five acts that received the highest scores across the four rounds qualify for the semi-final. In the semi-final, the top three singers will qualify for the final. The winner will represent Georgia on home ground at Junior Eurovision 2025 in Tbilisi.

🇮🇪 Ireland: Junior Eurovision Éire 2025 – Episode Four – 20:30 CEST

Six acts are competing in the semi-final of Junior Eurovision Éire 2025 for their place in the final.

The hopefuls in the Irish selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 return to the stage, competing for their place in the Grand Final. The six acts are performing for three places in the final, and the ticket to represent Ireland in Tbilisi.

The singers competing are:

  • Isla McManus
  • Peter Byrne
  • Brooke Stanton
  • Lottie O’Driscoll Murray
  • Abbie Flatley
  • Lia & Olivia

The results of all rounds will be decided by a jury of two permanent judges and one guest judge. Returning as a permanent judge is broadcaster Niamh Ní Chróinín. Joining the panel as a permanent judge this year is Hugh Carr, a broadcaster who currently appears on RTÉ 2fm. Tonight’s guest judge is Emmy, who represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
