Malta’s Junior Eurovision selection is underway with The Voice Kids Malta, as blind auditions reach their conclusion.
The series starts with the Blind Auditions, which will see the singers aged 9 to 14 perform for the coaches. The coaches will push their button to turn their chair when they like a performance. If more than one coach turns, then the singer will select the team they will join. If only one turns, they will automatically join that team.
The coaches for the competition are:
- Destiny – Junior Eurovision 2015 Winner and Eurovision 2020 & 2021 participant
- Gianluca Bezzina – Eurovision 2013 participant
- Sarah Bonnici – Eurovision 2024 participant
The results of the ninth show were as follows:
- Mia (13) – Gianluca turned
- Norah (11) – No coaches turned
- Ylenia (12) – No coaches turned
- Alaiya (12) – Destiny and Sarah turned, picked Sarah
The singers who have progressed to the next round are:
- Carly (12) – Sarah Bonnici’s team
- Eleny (13) – Destiny’s team
- Khloe (14) – Gianluca Bezzina’s team
- Aidan (11) – Gianluca Bezzina’s team
- Kaylin (13) – Destiny’s team
- Rachele Maria (13) – Destiny’s team
- Emma (14) – Sarah Bonnici’s team
- Esmè (13) – Sarah Bonnici’s team
- Izaya (14) – Gianluca Bezzina’s team
- Eliza (12) – Destiny’s Team

Ramires Sciberras represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid with “Stilla ċkejkna”. He finished 5th in the final with 153 points. This was the first Junior Eurovision entry to be performed entirely in Maltese and Malta’s best result since 2018.
