Barbara Sandikidze has received full marks from the jury in the third show of Ranina 2025.
The third episode of Ranina, the Georgian selection for Junior Eurovision 2025, aired last night, with Barbara Sandikidze topping the results. The acts performed covers of songs from across the globe.
They were scored by a three-member jury, which consisted of two permanent judges and a guest judge. The permanent judges are Dato Evgenidze and Nato Metonidze, and the guest judge was Bibi Kvachadze. The judges awarded up to 10 points for each criterion: voice, performance, art and collaboration.
The results were as follows:
- Barbara Sandikidze – 120 (40+40+40)
- Gabriel Bodaveli – 118 (40+40+38)
- Sesili Lemonjava – 118 (40+39+39)
- Lile Mchedlishvili – 117 points (40+39+38)
- Demetri Maisuradze – 117 points (39+38+40)
Ranina continues this evening with the other five singers taking to the stage to perform their covers.
Ranina is held across multiple stages. In the first phase, there are four rounds of performances with each round focused on a different style. The five acts that received the highest scores across the four rounds qualify for the semi-final. In the semi-final, the top three singers will qualify for the final. The winner will represent Georgia on home ground at Junior Eurovision 2025 in Tbilisi.
Andria Putkaradze won the Junior Eurovision 2024 with “To My Mom”. He scored 239 and received 12 points from 12 national juries. Andria’s victory in Madrid makes Georgia the most successful country in the history of the competition. Georgia made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and has now won four times.

Georgia has won the contest on four occasions, making it the most successful country in the history of the contest. Georgia debuted in Junior Eurovision in 2007 with Mariam Romelashvili and her song “Odelia Ranuni”, where she placed 4th with 116 points. Their first win was just a year later in 2008, with the trio Bzikebi and their song “Bzz”. Their second win was in 2011 with the group Candy and their song “Candy Music”. Georgia’s third victory came in 2016, when Mariam Mamadashvili performed her song “Mzeo”. Most recently, Andria Putkaradze won in 2024 with “To My Mom”.
