🇳🇱 Noord-Holland: Kelsey Verbrugge Chosen for the Regio Songfestival

NH has announced that Kelsey Verbrugge will represent Noord-Holland at the third edition of the Regio Songfestival.

Kelsey Verbrugge will represent Noord-Holland at the Regio Songfestival 2025 with the song “Bij jou ben ik thuis”. The twenty-five-year-old is known as the singing plasterer and started his music career six years ago. Kelsey is from a musical family, which includes Willeke Alberti, who represented the Netherlands at Eurovision 1994.

Talking about his song for the contest, Kelsey comments:

“In the song, I’m in a pub, longing for the person I’m coming home to,”

Kelsey’s announcement as the representative for Noord-Holland means that all of the acts competing in the Regio Songfestival 2025 have now been revealed ahead of the contest.

The 3rd edition of the Regio Songfestival will take place on November 1 in Arnhem. The competition is styled on the Eurovision Song Contest, RTV Utrecht hosted the first edition. Songs are performed in Dutch or the language of their region. The Regio Song Contest is organised by all thirteen regional broadcasters and is made possible by Buma Cultuur, AVROTROS and K.F Hein Fonds.
