Tonight, the Netherlands will select their representative for Junior Eurovision 2025, while the host nation of Georgia starts their search.

Tonight the Netherlands will select their representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Four acts are competing tonight live from the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam to represent the Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The four acts are formed of singers who took part in auditions earlier this year. The four acts and their songs are:

  • ICONIC – “Don’t Touch”
  • Level Up – “Rule the World”
  • Meadow – “Freeze”
  • Coco & Tove – “Strong Girl Summer”

The show will be hosted by two former Junior Eurovision participants, Stefania and Matheu. The winner of the selection will be determined by one third public voting, one third children’s jury and one third expert jury.

The Expert jurors are:

  • Sera – Singer and songwriter
  • Hannah Mae – Singer and songwriter
  • Billy Dans – Singer and songwriter

On the Children’s Jury are:

  • Veronika – Placed second at Junior Songfestival 2024
  • Stay Tuned – Represented the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2024

Tonight, the host country of Georgia will kick off its search for their representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Ranina commences this evening as Georgia’s search for Junior Eurovision 2025 begins. Across the next few weeks ten singers will be competing to represent their country in Tbilisi.

In the first two episodes, the ten finalists will each perform with the ensembles Ezidkatsa and Teatrulis Kvarteti. They will then be scored by a three-member jury, which consists of permanent judges and a guest judge. The permanent judges are Dato Evgenidze and Nato Metonidze. For the first round of the contest, the guest judge will be Sopho Khalvashi, who represented Georgia on their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007.

The ten singers competing to represent Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2025 are:

  • Mariam Muzashvili – 9 years old
  • Sandro Abesadze – 11 years old
  • Sesili Lemonjava – 11 years old
  • Gabriel Bodaveli – 12 years old
  • Anita Abgariani – 10 years old
  • Barbara Sandikidze – 11 years old
  • Demetri Maisuradze – 10 years old
  • Lile Mchedlishvili – 8 years old
  • Lazare Kapanadze – 11 years old
  • Nia Lashkhia – 11 years old

The show is held across multiple stages. In the first phase, there are four rounds of performances with each round focused on a different style. The five acts that received the highest scores across the four rounds qualify for the semi-final. In the semi-final, the top three singers will qualify for the final. The winner will represent Georgia on home ground at Junior Eurovision 2025 in Tbilisi.
