RTV Oost has revealed the five acts that are competing in its selection process for the Regio Songfestival 2025.
Five acts are competing to represent Overijssel at the third edition of the Regio Songfestival. The acts were announced on Radio Oost’s Paula Keizer show, with the competing songs set to be revealed next week. The five acts chosen from a public submission process are:
- Poelepetaten – “Zo Gezegd”
- Huub Ruel – “Ik Loat Oe Nig Goan”
- Yke – “Ik laat je los”
- Pivo (Prod. Indigo) – “Droom”
- Lotte Aarnink – “As Mie Monn ‘t Lech Oet Geet”
Voting in the RTV Oost selection will open on September 5 and will close on September 11. The winner of the selection will be determined by a combination of online voting and jury voting.
The 3rd edition of the Regio Songfestival will take place on November 1 in Arnhem. The competition is styled on the Eurovision Song Contest, RTV Utrecht hosted the first edition. Songs are performed in Dutch or the language of their region. The Regio Song Contest is organised by all thirteen regional broadcasters and is made possible by Buma Cultuur, AVROTROS and K.F Hein Fonds.
The participating broadcasters and entries for 2025 are:

- Flevoland – Omroep Flevoland – Luca Ferron – “Morgen heb ik spijt”
- Friesland – Omrop Fryslân – To be determined in September
- Gelderland – Omroep Gelderland – Droadneagels – “Kandatannogandesdan”
- Groningen – RTV Noord – Jeroen Russchen and Iwan Esajas
- Limburg – L1 – Fourtune – To be announced on September 15
- Noord-Holland – NH
- Overijssel – RTV Oost – To be selected in September
- Rijnmond – Rijnmond
- Utrecht – RTV Utrecht
- West – Omroep West – To be announced on September 15
- Zeeland – Omroep Zeeland – Tarzan & The Beachwaiters – “Buitenbenen”
