Today, the first rehearsals will continue for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.
First rehearsals for the countries competing in the second half of Semi-Final Two will take place in Basel. First rehearsals see each country given a 40-minute slot on stage to rehearse their entry, allowing for multiple runs through of their performance.
Delegations first submitted their staging plans to the contest organisers in March, with stand-in rehearsals taking place during the past week to enable some pre-first rehearsal changes. Unlike previous years, there will be no video footage released of the rehearsals. Instead, only three approved images of each performance will be released the following day.
The following countries are expected to take to the stage today:
Malta: Miriana Conte – “Serving”
Georgia: Mariam Shangelia – “Freedom”
Denmark: Sissal – “Hallucination”
Czechia: Adonxs – “Kiss Kiss Goodbye”
Luxembourg: Laura Thorn – “La poupée monte le son”
Israel: Yuval Raphael – “New Day Will Rise”
Serbia: Princ – “Mila”
Finland: Erika Vikman – “Ich komme”
