Yle, the Finnish broadcaster, has revealed its programming for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 across television, radio and online.
Eurovision will be on Yle, the Finnish broadcaster as the country looks ahead to the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. With home interest in both Erika Vikman and KAJ. the broadcaster has a variety of shows planned to cover all aspects of the contest.
Television
- Euroviisut: sotaa ja lovee – April 25, May 2 and May 3 – Documentary looking at Eurovision as an arena for politics, opinions and protest.
- Eurovision Semi-Final One – Yle TV1 – Commentated on by Mikko Silevnnoinen (Finnish), Eva Frantz and Johan Lindroos (Swedish), Heli Huovinen (Inari Sámi) and Aslak Paltto (Northern Sámi).

Erika Vikman won UMK 2025 and will represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with, “Ich komme”. She will close the second semi-final on May 15. You can watch our interview with the singer from Eurovision in Concert 2025 below:

Finland first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961. They debuted alongside Spain and Yugoslavia. Finland has finished last in the contest on 10 occasions and has received ‘nul points’ three times. It wasn’t until 2006 that Finland won the Eurovision Song Contest. Lordi represented the country in Athens with the song “Hard Rock Hallelujah” scoring 292 points, a record total at the time.
