Mariam Shengelia has teased she could possibly be joined by dancers on stage, during her performance in May.
Georgia’s Eurovision 2025 representative, Mariam Shengelia, had recently posted a story on Instagram of a video of herself and four dancers, dancing to Sweden’s “Bara Bada Bastu” with the caption “Eurovision We Are Ready”.
While this neither confirms or denies that she will be joined by dancers on stage, this does however confirm that the dancers with her at that moment, are most likely from the same dance studio as the ones seen in the music video of “Freedom”; who are of Erisoni – the Georgian State Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance.
While neither GPB or Mariam have confirmed staging details so far, they are expected to be revealed in the coming week as rehearsals are set to begin.
Mariam Shengelia will represent Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. She is set to perform 10th in the running order during the second semi-final with her song Freedom.

Georgia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. They were represented by Sopho Khalvashi and the song “Visionary Dream”. Sopho finished 12th in the final scoring 97 points. The song received 12 points from the televoters in Lithuania. Their best result was a 9th place in both 2010 and 2011. Georgia has only ever missed one contest since their debut. This was in 2009 when they had selected Stephane & 3G with “We Don’t Wanna Put In”. The EBU asked the Georgian participants to rewrite the lyrics of the song or change the song completely.
