The next set of results is in for the OGAE Poll 2025, with the results from Romania announced.
OGAE Romania is the ninth club to reveal its points in the 2025 OGAE Poll. 7 members of OGAE Romania voted in the poll, and the results were as follows:
- France – 12 points
- Austria – 10 points
- Albania – 8 points
- Germany – 7 points
- The Netherlands – 6 points
- San Marino – 5 points
- Sweden – 4 points
- Estonia – 3 points
- Israel – 2 points
- Finland – 1 point

The OGAE Poll
The OGAE Poll has been held since 2007 by OGAE clubs all over Europe and beyond. The purpose of the OGAE Poll is not to predict the winner, but to determine the fan favourite.
In recent years, the poll has been closely followed by fans as an indicator of potential results at the Eurovision Song Contest. The OGAE poll can give an indication of taste amongst the fans which helps to build momentum behind certain entries.
Last year, Baby Lasagna from Croatia was declared the winner of the OGAE Poll 2024 after a total of 5,760 votes were cast across the OGAE fanclubs. Full results of the OGAE Poll 2024 can be found here.

Romania first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. The country had tried to participate in 1993 but failed to get through the pre-qualifying round. At the 1994 contest, Dan Bittman finished 21st in the final scoring 14 points. Romania didn’t make it through to another final until 1998. Romania’s best results in the contest are two third-place finishes. In 2005, Luminita Anghel & Sistem finished 3rd, scoring 158 points, while Paula Seling & Ovi finished 3rd in Oslo with the song “Playing with Fire”. Romania missed the 2016 contest due to TVR being removed from the EBU due to debts to the organisation.
