🇫🇮 Finland: Swedish Language Commentators Announced For Eurovision 2025

Finnish broadcaster, Yle, has announced their Swedish language commentators for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Similar to previous years, Eva Frantz and Johan Lindroos will provide Swedish language commentary for Yle. Swedish Yle will also offer a Swedish language chat, both during the semi-finals and the final.

Eva Frantz and Johan Lindroos have commentated on the Eurovision Song Contest for the Finnish broadcaster since 2021. This year will be the fourteenth edition of the contest the duo have covered.

Erika Vikman won UMK 2025 and will represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with, “Ich komme”. She will close the second semi-final on May 15. You can watch our interview with the singer from Eurovision in Concert 2025 below:

Finland first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961. They debuted alongside Spain and Yugoslavia. Finland has finished last in the contest on 10 occasions and has received ‘nul points’ three times. It wasn’t until 2006 that Finland won the Eurovision Song Contest. Lordi represented the country in Athens with the song “Hard Rock Hallelujah” scoring 292 points, a record total at the time.
