🇸🇲 San Marino: Gabry Ponte Meets Government Ahead of Eurovision

Gabry Ponte has met with the Sammarinese government ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

San Marino’s representative at Eurovision 2025, Gabry Ponte, has met with representatives of the government ahead of his trip to Basel. During the visit, he met with the Secretary of State for Tourism, Federico Pedini Amati, as well as with the Captains Regents, the two heads of state of San Marino, Denise Bronzetti and Italo Righi.

Ponte was given a Sammarinese flag to take with him to Basel and was wished good luck for the contest in May. Pedini Amati also took the time to underline how the national selection, San Marino Song Conest 2025, was considered a great success and a unanimously appreciated product for the broadcaster.

He also thanked the Italian broadcaster, RAI, for their collaboration with the national selection and pointed out the important link between the two countries, something he hopes to showcase with the song “Tutta L’Italia”.

Gabry Ponte will represent San Marino at Eurovision 2025 with the song, “Tutta L’Italia”. He will perform 11th in the first semi-final on May 13.

San Marino debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 alongside Azerbaijan. On their debut, they were represented by Miodio and the song “Complice”, and finished last in their semi-final with just 5 points. San Marino withdrew from the contest before returning in 2011. Since then the country has participated annually and in 2014, they qualified for their first final. Since their first qualification, they have qualified for the final in 2019 and 2021.
