The twenty-third artist in our Who Is series for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is Princ from Serbia.
Princ, stage name of Stefan Zdravković, was born on September 29, 1993 in Vranje, Southern Serbia, but he has been living in Belgrade since 2002.
He holds a degree in Norwegian and Scandinavian studies from the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade. Besides Scandinavia, Prince’s other huge interest is music – he has been singing, playing the guitar, and playing the drums since high school.
Since 2016, he has been the frontman of the band Sisyphus, although he is known best to the public for his solo works. In 2020, he was cast as the lead role of a Serbian production of the rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. After this, in 2021, he took part in the eighth season of the TV show Glasat na Bulgaria (The Voice of Bulgaria), successfully making it through the semi-finals and entering the top 12.
Princ’s relationship with the Eurovision Song Contest began in 2022, when he was announced by the Serbian broadcaster RTS as one of the thirty-six participants of Pesma za Evroviziju ’22. He was supposed to compete with the song “Ljubi svog čoveka”, but withdrew because of conflicts with the songwriter of the entry.
One year later, Princ tried to represent his country once more, and competed in Pesma za Evroviziju ’23 with “Cvet sa istoka”. He successfully qualified from the first semifinal and managed to get the most votes from the audience in the final, although that was not enough to win the competition, thus placing second behind Luke Black.
In December 2024, RTS announced that Princ was chosen to compete in Pesma za Evroviziju ’25 with the song “Mila”. After qualifying for the second semi-final, he won the competition on February 28, thus earning the right to represent Serbia at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.
Princ will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland in May 2025 with “Mila”. He will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 15.

Serbia have competed as an independent nation in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2007, and has seen great success in the competition. Their first entry in 2007, “Molitva” by Marija Šerifović, won the contest in Helsinki with 268 points, making Serbia’s debut one of the most successful in Eurovision history. Since then, Serbia finished in the top 10 a further four times, including a 3rd place finish in 2012 with “Nije ljubav stvar” by Željko Joksimović.
