The Portuguese representatives for Eurovision 2025, Napa, are filming their postcard for the contest in Switzerland.

Filming continues in Switzerland as Portugal becomes the next country to travel to shoot their postcard footage. In recent weeks, participants from the 37 participating countries have been travelling to this year’s host city to film short clips, which will be shown during the live broadcasts of the contest in May.

Napa are representing Portugal with “Deslocado”. They will be competing in the first half of the first semi-final on May 13.

Postcards

This year marks the first time since 2019 that the postcards that will feature in the contest will have been filmed in the host country. In the past 5 years, artists have been superimposed on locations in the host country, seen visiting locations they are from or shown alongside past entries from their country.

Postcards have been a part of Eurovision since 1970, originally serving as a way to promote the host country. Over time, they have evolved into short segments that introduce the artists while allowing time for the stage to be set for the next performance.
