A total of 430,000 viewers were recorded for the final of the San Marino Song Contest 2025 on March 8.
Across San Marino RTV, RaiPlay, Radio 2, RaiPlay2 and RaiPlay, a total of 430,000 views were recorded for the final of the Sammarinese selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. This figure equates to an audience nearly eight times the size of the total population of San Marino.
The San Marino Song Contest has been viewed by San Marino RTV and the nartion’s Government as a clear success for the country. Annecdotally it has been reported in Italian media that the contest clearly drew large audiences from Italy, with audience figures dropping on Saturday evening in Italy.
Gabry Ponte will perform “Tutta l’Italia” in the second half of the first semi-final on May 13.

San Marino debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 alongside Azerbaijan. On their debut, they were represented by Miodio and the song “Complice”, and finished last in their semi-final with just 5 points. San Marino withdrew from the contest before returning in 2011. Since then the country has participated annually and in 2014, they qualified for their first final. Since their first qualification, they have qualified for the final in 2019 and 2021.
