NDR has released the full breakdown of the public voting results from the final of Chefsache ESC 2025.
663,451 votes were cast during the final of the German selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Votes could be cast by the public via phone call, SMS and online. Abor & Tynna received the overall highest number of votes, and topped both the SMS and online vote, but LYZA who came 2nd was the phone voting favourite.

Abor & Tynna will perform in the Grand Final on May 17 with “Baller”. Germany will be performing in German for the first time since 2007.

Germany was one of seven countries to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. The country has taken part in every contest since then, apart from in 1996, when they failed to make it through the qualifying round. To date Germany has won the contest twice. The first time was in 1982 when Nicole sang “Ein Bisschen Frieden” in Harrogate, which later became a global hit. Germany didn’t win again until 2010 when Lena sang “Satellite” in Oslo. She received 9 sets of 12 points, scoring 246 points overall.
