Nine artists have qualified from the Semi-Final of Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland?, the German Eurovision selection.
In tonight’s show, fourteen artists competed in the Semi-Final of Germany’s national selection for Eurovision 2025. At the end of the night, the nine highest-ranked acts, chosen by the jury advanced to the Final on March 1st.
The jury consisted of Stefan Raab, Elton, Yvonne Catterfield and guest juror Max Giesinger.
The results of the Semi-Final are:
- JULIKA – Empress – Qualified for the final
- Benjamin Braatz – Like You Love Me – Qualified for the final
- Jonathan Henrich – Golden Child
- Feuerschwanz – Knightclub – Qualified for the final
- Cage – Golden Hour
- COSBY – I’m Still Here – Qualified for the final
- Abor & Tynna – Baller (Shoot) – Qualified for the final
- JALN – Weg von dir (Away from you)
- LEONORA – This Bliss – Qualified for the final
- From Fall To Spring – Take the Pain Away
- Cloudy June – If Jesus Saw What We Did Last Night
- Moss Kena – Nothing Can Stop Love – Qualified for the final
- The Great Leslie – These Days – Qualified for the final
- Lyza – Lovers on Mars – Qualified for the final
The nine acts that have made it to the Final of Chefsache 2025, will compete for the right to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. As a member of the Big Five, Germany has automatically qualified for the Grand Final of Eurovision 2025.

Germany was one of seven countries to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. The country has taken part in every contest since then, apart from in 1996, when they failed to make it through the qualifying round. To date Germany has won the contest twice. The first time was in 1982 when Nicole sang “Ein Bisschen Frieden” in Harrogate, which later became a global hit. Germany didn’t win again until 2010 when Lena sang “Satellite” in Oslo. She received 9 sets of 12 points, scoring 246 points overall.
