Montenegro’s Eurovision 2025 representative, Nina Žižić, recently returned from Switzerland, where she filmed her Eurovision postcard.
As more countries select their representatives for Eurovision 2025 in Basel, the SRG SSR production team is becoming increasingly busy with postcard filming. With several artists having already completed their shoots, Nina revealed in an interview that hers took place in Zurich.
“It was wonderful! Of course, filming the whole day was exhausting, but you start appreciating the effort thanks to the amazing team of professionals. Not only did they make sure every shot was perfect, but they also took great care of me. Whether I was cold, thirsty, or hungry, they made sure I felt comfortable.”
During the interview for MNE Magazine, Nina also discussed her upcoming Eurovision-related activities. She is confirmed to attend Eurovision in Concert on April 5 in Amsterdam, but her participation in Manchester’s Manchagen Festival on April 11 remains uncertain due to visa processing delays.
Additionally, Nina revealed that there isn’t yet an official release date for the music video of her Eurovision 2025 entry, “Dobrodošli”. She expects it to be released sometime in March, as the revamped version of the song is nearly complete.
Nina Žižić was chosen to represent Montenegro in Basel after NeonoeN, elected to withdraw as Montenegro’s representative at Eurovision 2025, due to their song being performed at a festival in 2023. Nina is returning to the Eurovision Song Contest having competed in 2013 alongside Who See with “Igranka”.
Montenegro is returning to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2025 having last competed in the contest in Turin, Italy in 2022.

Montenegro debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2007 and participated until 2010 when they withdrew for financial reasons, Montenegro would return to the contest in 2012. Montenegro failed to qualify for the grand final until 2014 when Sergej Ćetković and his song “Moj svijet” placed 19th in the final. Their best result came a year later, when Knez performed “Adio” in Vienna. They have never reached the top 10, with Knez reaching 13th out of 27 countries. Montenegro has participated intermittently between 2019 and 2025, with withdrawals from 2020 to 2021 and 2023 to 2024.
