The running order for the final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 has been announced by TVM.
TVM has announced the running order for this evenings final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. The opening and closing positions in the final were drawn at random at the end of the second Semi-Final.
The order is as follows:
- Miriana Conte – “Kant”
- Victoria – “Juno”
- Dario Bezzina ft. Żeppi l-Muni – “Għażliet” (Options)
- JVF – “Festa (No Time for Siesta)”
- The Alchemists – “Rubble & Stone”
- Krista Šujak – “Unheard”
- Raquela – “Silenced”
- Kantera – “LalaRataTakeke LalaRataKabum”
- Nathan – “Concrete”
- Justine Shorfid – “Still I Rise”
- Adria Twins – “Qalb ma’ Qalb” (Heart to heart)
- Martina Borg – “Yo Listen”
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – “Hideaway”
- Kurt Calleja – “Aziz/a” (Dear)
- Kristy Spiteri – “Heaven Sent”
- Stefan Galea – “Lablab (Talk Talk)”
In addition, TVM has announced three interval additional acts for the final this evening. Ramires Sciberras who represented Malta at Junior Eurovision 2024, Maxine Pace winner of Mużika Mużika 2024 and Sarah Bonnici Malta’s Eurovision 2024 representative will all be taking to the stage.
The final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place tonight at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali. The show will be hosted by Pauline Agius, Davide Tucci and Valentina Rossi.
A total of 16 songs will compete for the Maltese ticket to Basel. A combination of jury (50%) and public voting (50%) will decide the results.
Malta debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1971 and was represented by Joe Grech and the song “Marija L-Maltija”, which finished last. Malta competed again in 1972 and 1975 but then withdrew until their return in 1991. During the 1990s Malta only once finished outside of the top 10, and in 1998 they came within just 7 points of victory. It was Chiara who brought the country their 3rd place finish in 1998, and who went on to finish in 2nd at the 2005 contest in Kyiv. The only other artist to finish 2nd for Malta is Ira Losco, who was 12 points away from victory in 2002. They are the longest and most successful participating country never to have won the Eurovision Song Contest.
