RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, has announced the professional jurors for Benidorm Fest 2025.
The jury lineup features eight esteemed professionals—four national and four international—who will collectively contribute 50% of the total scores.
The national jury includes:
- Roberto Santamaría (director of Radio Nacional de España)
- Javier Llano (head of music programming at CADENA 100, a Spanish radio station)
- Jaime Acero (Content Director of TelevisaUnivision and music producer)
- Claudia Orellana (esteemed musical talent scout)
Furthermore, the international jury showcases a diverse array of experts. On the international jury are:
- Oksana Skybinska (Head of the Ukrainian delegation for Eurovision)
- Maja Tokic (executive producer of Dora, Croatia’s Eurovision preselection)
- Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen (Dutch Head of Contest for Eurovision 2023 and former Dutch Head of Delegation).
Benidorm Fest 2025 kicks off next Tuesday, January 28, with 16 artists competing across two semi-finals:
Semi-Final 1 – January 28
- Chica Sobresalto – “Mala feminista” (Bad feminist)
- Daniela Blasco – “U Na Na”
- David Afonso – “Amor barato” (Cheap love)
- K!ngdom – “Me gustas tú” (I like you)
- Kuve – “Loca xti” (Crazy for you)
- Lachispa – “Hartita de llorar” (Tired of crying)
- Lucas Bun – “Te escribo en el cielo” (I write to you in heaven)
- Sonia & Selena – “Reinas” (Queens)
Semi-Final 2 – January 30
- Carla Frigo – “Bésame” (Kiss me)
- Celine Van Heel – “La casa” (The house)
- De Teresa – “La pena” (The pain)
- Henry Semler – “No lo ves” (You don’t see it)
- J Kbello – “VIP”
- Mawot – “Raggio di sole” (Ray of sunlight)
- Mel Ömana – “I’m a Queen”
- Melody – “Esa diva” (That diva)
From each semi-final, four artists will advance to the grand final on February 1, where Spain’s Eurovision 2025 representative will be selected. For the first time in Benidorm Fest history, the semi-final results will remain undisclosed until after the final. The grand final will take place on February 1.
Last year, Nebulossa represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with “Zorra”. The duo placed 22nd, scoring 30 points.

Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since, making them the longest participating country that has never withdrawn. Spain has won the contest on two occasions; the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
