Voting opens today to select the sixteenth artist that will compete in the final of Eesti Laul 2025, the Estonian Eurovision selection show.
The voting window to determine the last artist that will compete in Eesti Laul 2025 will open this morning. Twenty songs are in the running for the sixteenth place in the contest, with the public able to vote for their favourite until January 5 at 18:00 CET.
The winner of the Eesti Laul 2025 wildcard will be announced on the morning of January 6. Raadio 2 will broadcast a special program about the search for the 16th finalist, where you can also get to know all the participants better.
The 20 wildcard entries for Eesti Laul 2025 are:

- Elina Martinson – “Sinitihane” (Blue tit)
- Everfall – “Stories We Hold”
- Felix Enghult – “More Than Innocent”
- Gerli Padar – “Võõraks jääd” (You will become a stranger)
- Horror Dance Squad – “The Rebel Reborn”
- Kozy – “Jääb nii (tahan, et tead)” (It stays that way (I want you to know))
- Marianne Leibur – “Pluto and Mars”
- Marta Lotta – “Tantsin veel” (I’m still dancing)
- Merwis – “Aknal langevaid pisaraid” (Tears falling on the window)
- Mick Pedaja – “Sound Of Pines”
- Sarah Murray – “High On Myself New”
- Silver Jusilo – “Turn Back Time”
- Sten-Olle – “Noorex” (Young)

Among the artists hoping to secure a place in the final are two past Estonian Eurovision representatives. Laura Põldvere previously represented Estonia in 2005 as a member of Suntribe and in 2017 alongside Koit Toome. Gerli Padar represented Estonia in 2007.
Eesti Laul 2025 will only consist of one show; a grand final on February 15 in the Unibet Arena in Tallinn. This will be the first time since 2010 that Eesti Laul will consist of only one show.
The voting in the final will take place over two rounds. In the first round, a seven-member international expert and public voting will select three entries to advance to the superfinal.
In the superfinal, public voting alone will decide the winner. The winner of Eesti Laul 2025 will represent Estonia in Eurovision 2025 in Basel.
