The three jurors that will determine 50% of the results in Vidbir 2025 have been chosen by the Ukrainian public.
442,374 Ukrainians voted to determine the members of the jury for the Ukrainian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. One vote could be cast per person, with the top three voted persons forming the jury for Vidbir 2025.
The three selected jurors are:
- Jamala – 35.28% of the vote – 156,048 votes
- Serhiy Tanchynets – 20.24% of the vote – 89,516 votes
- Kateryna Pavlenko – 11.84% of the vote – 52,359 votes
The three selected jurors will now have to sign an agreement with Suspilne to be formally confirmed as Vidbir 2025 jurors. In the event an individual does not sign the agreement, the next highest-voted individual will join the jury.
The final of Vidbir 2025 will take place on February 8. The winner of the selection will be determined based on the results of the jury and audience voting, and will have the chance to represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2025 in Basel.
Nine of the finalists have been selected already by a jury. They are:
- Future Culture – “Waste My Time”
- KHAYAT – “Honor”
- KRYLATA – “Stay True”
- MOLODI – “my sea”
- Ziferblat – “Bird of pray”
- Abiye – “Dim” (Home)
- DK Energetik – “Sil’” (Salt)
- Masha Kondratenko – “No time to cry”
- Vlad Sheryf – “Wind of change”
The eleven artists who are not direct qualifiers with the jury will go through to a public vote who will then the tenth finalist. The full list of finalists will be published by January 17. The eleven artists through to the public vote are:

alyona alyona and Jerry Heil represented Ukraine at this 2024 Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Teresa & Maria”. The duo finished in 3rd place with a total of 453 points. They also achieved the best result from 2nd spot in the Grand Final running order since 2002.

Ukraine first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, when Oleksandr Ponomariov performed “Hasta la vista”. The following year Ruslana brought the country their first win with the song “Wild Dances”. It was a feat that would be replicated in 2016 by Jamala with her song “1944”; Kalush Orchestra gave Ukraine their third victory in 2022 with “Stefania”. Ukraine is one of two countries with a 100% semi-final qualification record.
