NeonoeN have won Montesong 2024 and will represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with “Clickbeat”.
The final of Montesong 2024 took place tonight in the Voco Sports Hall in Podgorica. The show was hosted by Marko Todorović and Vladana Vučinić, who represented Montenegro in 2022.
In addition to the competing songs, there were also performances from Danijel Popović (Yugoslavia 1983), Sergej Ćetković (Montenegro 2014), Elena Risteka (North Macedonia 2006) and Emmelie de Forest (Eurovision 2013 winner for Denmark).
A total of 16 artists competed for the Montenegrin ticket to Basel. This was the largest number of artists that have competed in a Montenegrin national selection since the nation’s debut in Eurovision in 2007.
The winner was decided by a combination of a seven-member jury (50%) and public voting (50%). The jury members were:

- Nuša Derenda (Slovenia 2001)
- Dado Topić (Croatia 2007)
- Elena Risteka (North Macedonia 2006)
- Tijana Bogićević (Serbia 2017)
- Emmelie de Forest (Eurovision 2013 winner for Denmark)
- Danijel Popović (Yugoslavia 1983)

NeonoeN will represent Montenegro on their return to Eurovision. Montenegro last participated in 2022, when Vladana finished 17th in Semi-Final 2 with “Breathe”.

Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest
Montenegro debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2007, and participated until 2010 when they withdrew for financial reasons. They returned to the contest in 2012, and since then have mostly chosen their entry internally. Montenegro failed to qualify for the grand final until 2014, when Sergej Ćetković and his song “Moj svijet” placed 19th in the final. Their best result came a year later, when Knez performed “Adio” in Vienna. They have never reached the top 10, with Knez reaching 13th out of 27 countries.
