Enya Cox Dempsey has given her first live television performance of the revamped Irish entry for Junior Eurovision 2024.
Ahead of the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Enya Cox Dempsey has performed the revamped version of “Le Chéile” live. The singer performed her song live on the Virgin One show ‘The Six O’Clock Show’ earlier this week, you can watch the performance below:
Enya Cox Dempsey will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Le chéile”. She was selected to represent Ireland in Madrid through Junior Eurovision Éire 2024.
Junior Eurovision 2024
The 2024 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Madrid, following their second-place finish at the 2023 contest. The final will take place at the Caja Mágica on November 16, bringing the contest back to a Saturday for the first time since 2015. The winner, France, declined the hosting responsibility after hosting the 2023 edition in Nice.

Ireland debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the 2015 contest in Sofia, Bulgaria. The nation’s participation is organised by the Irish-language broadcaster TG4. At the 2015 contest in Bulgaria, Ireland was represented by Aimee Banks with the song “Réalta na Mara”. She finished 12th in the final. The country’s best result came at the 2022 contest in Armenia. Ireland was represented by Sophie Lennon with the song “Solas”. She finished 4th in the final, scoring a total of 150 points.
