Enya Cox Dempsey, the Irish representative for Junior Eurovision 2024, has met Bambie Thug, the Irish representative for Eurovision 2024.
Enya Cox Dempsey had the opportunity to meet Bambie Thug, who gave Ireland their best result at the Eurovision Song Contest in 24 years, during their Crown The Witch Tour, which has toured 20 countries around Europe since August. Bambie Thug gave advice to Enya on performing at Eurovision.
The full meeting between the two will be shown during “Junior Eurovision: Hola Enya” on TG4 on November 9. The documentary will show Enya’s preparations for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid.
Enya Cox Dempsey will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Le chéile”.

Ireland debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the 2015 contest in Sofia, Bulgaria. The nation’s participation is organised by the Irish-language broadcaster TG4. At the 2015 contest in Bulgaria, Ireland was represented by Aimee Banks with the song “Réalta na Mara”. She finished 12th in the final. The country’s best result came at the 2022 contest in Armenia. Ireland was represented by Sophie Lennon with the song “Solas”. She finished 4th in the final, scoring a total of 150 points.
