Stage construction is underway at the Caja Mágica in Madrid for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Work is underway in the Spanish capital for the 22nd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Construction has started at the Caja Mágica in the past day, as rehearsals for the contest commence in just under two weeks time.
Construction will take place at the same time that the first promotional materials for the contest begin to appear across Madrid. The Spanish capital has seen flags promoting the cities hosting of the contest appear along streets.
The 2024 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Madrid, following their second-place finish at the 2023 contest. The final will take place at the Caja Mágica on November 16, bringing the contest back to a Saturday for the first time since 2015. The winner, France, declined the hosting responsibility after hosting the 2023 edition in Nice.
