Rehearsals are underway in San Marino are Idols SM prepare to represent their country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Idols SM have commenced rehearsals for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid, Spain. Rehearsals are underway at the San Marino Academy Ballet, with work focused on the choreography that has been created by Jessica Andreoni. Ms Andreoni commented:
“They make me very happy – concludes their teacher -. It’s easy to teach them the choreography because they follow me while playing but with a lot of passion and commitment. For them, it’s the first experience and I hope that everything goes well, that they have fun and maybe even win”.
You can watch elements of the groups choreography for their Junior Eurovision performance on San Marino RTV here. Idols SM are participating with the song “Come Noi”. The group is formed of Asia Ceccoli, Giulia Rinaldi, Giorgia Descisolo and Vera Stefania Olkhovskaya.
The San Marinese entry was selected as part of “Sogna ragazzo sogna” where Idols SM performed two songs “Poesia” and “Come noi”, “Come noi” was selected by the jury as the entry they will perform in Madrid. Both of the songs were written and composed by Miodio who represented San Marino on its Eurovision debut in 2008 with “Complice”.
Junior Eurovision 2024
The 2024 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Madrid, following their second-place finish at the 2023 contest. The final will take place at the Caja Mágica on November 16, bringing the contest back to a Saturday for the first time since 2015. The winner, France, declined the hosting responsibility after hosting the 2023 edition in Nice.

San Marino debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2013. The republic’s best result came that same year with Michele Perniola and his entry, “O-o-O Sole intorno a me”, finishing in tenth place with 42 points. San Marino continued participating until 2016. They will return to the contest in 2024.
