Silet Open Up will represent Indonesia at the ABU TV Song Festival 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey with “Kaka Main Salah”.
Speaking to Eurovoix World, Silet Open Up has revealed the song he will be performing at the ABU TV Song Festival. The singer will be performing “Kaka Main Salah”, the song which was released in 2019 has received over 50 million streams since its release.
Silet Open Up spoke more to Eurovoix World about what it means to represent Indonesia at the event:
I am a singer who comes from Indonesia, specifically Eastern Indonesia. We always present the characteristics of Eastern Indonesia in our songs, which perhaps at this time TVRI wants to tell the world that Indonesia has cultural diversity even in its songs. I never thought that I would be entrusted to performing at an international festival like this. It is truly an honor for me to be entrusted to appear here.

ABU TV Song Festival 2024
The 13th edition of the ABU TV Song Festival will take place on October 20 in Istanbul, Türkiye hosted by the Turkish public broadcaster TRT. This will be the second time that Istanbul has hosted the event, the first time being in 2015.
