Two more entries for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be chosen tonight as national finals take place in Malta and the Netherlands.

Malta: Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest – 18:00 CESTThe final of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place tonight as Malta celebrates 60 years of independence. The show will be hosted by Melanie Kelly. There will also be guest performances from Chanel Monseigneur (Junior Eurovision 2020), Gaia Gambuzza (Junior Eurovision 2022) and Yulan Law (Junior Eurovision 2023).
A total of 14 acts will compete to represent Malta in Madrid. The running order is as follows:
- Shaz – “Above It All”
- Andrea Camilleri – “Gold”
- Eleny Incorvaja Scerri – “Guiding Light”
- Emma Farrugia – “Summertime”
- GRRLZ – “Grrlz”
- Ilona – “Zip It Up”
- Anneka Xerri – “Trying to Be Me (Ħeq Le)” (Right no)
- Kayleen – “Lalala”
- Ramires Sciberras – “Stilla Ċkejkna” (Little star)
- Maria Curmi – “Għawdex” (Gozo)
- Keira (Keira Farrugia) – “Kif Jien” (How I am)
- Chanel (Chanel Abela Camilleri) – “I’ll Be Alright”
- Thomas Casha – “A Little Bit Longer”
- Daylin Cassar Randich – “Bonafide”
The winner of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be selected by a professional jury (80%) and public voting (20%).

Netherlands: Junior Songfestival 2024 – 19:20 CEST
The final of Junior Songfestival 2024 will take place at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam Ahoy. The show will be hosted by Stefania Liberakakis and Matheu Hinzen. Stefania represented the Netherlands as part of Kisses at Junior Eurovision 2016 and Greece as a solo artist at Eurovision 2021. Matheu represented the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2019.
A total of four acts will compete to represent the Netherlands in Madrid. The four competing acts are:
- Veronika – “Dreams Are Built to Last”
- Ruben – “Colors of My Heart”
- Dunyah, Hidde, Saïda – “In m’n Prime”
- Stay Tuned – “Music”
The results will be decided by a children’s jury (33%), a professional jury (33%) and public voting (33%).
The members of the children’s jury are:
- Sep & Jasmijn – Netherlands Junior Eurovision 2023
- Joy! – Runner-ups of Junior Songfestival 2023
The members of the professional jury are:
- Roxeanne Hazes – Singer
- Jim Bakkum – Actor and singer
- Anne Appelo – Musical theatre actress

Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Malta debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has gone on to win the contest twice. In 2013 on their return to the competition in Kyiv, Gaia Cauchi won the competition with “The Start”. She was the first winner of a Eurovision event for Malta. In 2015, Destiny Chukunyere took victory in Sofia, Bulgaria with the song “Not My Soul”. Malta finished last at the 2005 contest in Belgium, 2019 edition in Poland and the 2022 edition in Armenia. Malta joins North Macedonia as the Junior Eurovision country with the most last-place finishes, finishing last three times.
