The entries that will compete in the Semi-Final stage of the AI Song Contest 2024 have been revealed.
A total of seventy-seven songs were submitted for the AI Song Contest 2024, with the submissions now having been revealed. Thirty-three entries have made it through to the Semi-Final stage, which will see the public and jury select ten entries to go through to the final.

Returning participants in the contest are Ceremony Shadows (2023), DADABOTS (2023, 2022, 2021 & 2020), Botuoso (2023), HEL9000 (2023), Seva M (2023), DJ Swami (2023), Almost Human (2023). DADABOTS finished 2nd in the AI Song Contest 2023, Ceremony Shadows 5th, HEL9000 6th and DJ Swami finished 7th at the contest in Galicia.
Voting for the finalists will commence on September 1, with voting remaining open until September 30 on the AI Song Contest website.
The AI Song Contest 2024 final is set to be held in Switzerland on October 5. The Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich is the host and sponsor of the fifth edition of the competition.
The AI Song Contest was first held in 2020 and has grown in popularity since. The contest is the first to encourage songs to be written by artificial intelligence. The songs are then evaluated by a jury on the use of AI in the song, while the public assesses the songs in an online vote. The contest has been won to date by entries from Australia, the Netherlands, Thailand and the United States.
