Castings for Una Voce per San Marino 2025 will commence on September 26, 2024, and conclude on January 25, 2025.
The casting dates for Una Voce per San Marino 2025 have been revealed. Casting sees the singers who have applied to compete perform for a panel at the San Marino Outlet Experience, with casting dates set across six blocks. The dates announced are:
- September 26 to 29
- October 17 to 19
- November 14 to 16
- December 12 to 14
- January 9 to 11
- January 23 to 25
Applications are currently open to anyone who is over the age of 16 on February 15, 2015, singers can be of any nationality and songs performed in any language. Submissions will be accepted until December 31, 2024.
Una Voce per San Marino 2025 will be held across three phases. In the Academy and Casting stage, all of the applicants will be assessed, with 80 singers selected to go through to the Semi-Finals. Four Semi-Finals will be held for non-San Marinese acts with two qualifiers from each show, an additional Semi-Final will be held for San Marinese artists with one qualifier.
The final of the San Marinese selection will be held on February 22, 2025, at the Teatro Nuovo Dogana. Unlike previous years there are no ‘Big Artists’ prequalified for the final. The winner will be determined by a 5 member jury.
Una Voce per San Marino has been used to select San Marino’s Eurovision entry since 2022 and has seen artists from across the world compete to represent the nation on stage.
San Marino was represented by Megara in Sweden with “11:11”, they placed 14th in Semi-Final Two scoring 16 points. The highest points received came from Spain whose televote awarded 10 points.

San Marino debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 alongside Azerbaijan. On their debut they were represented by Miodio and the song “Complice”, and finished last in their semi-final with just 5 points. San Marino withdrew from the contest before returning again in 2011. Since then the country has participated annually and in 2014 qualified for their first final. The nation’s worst result came in 2023 when the band Piqued Jacks represented San Marino with “Like an Animal”. They finished last in their semi-final with nul points.
