Biser Jadrana 2024 is set to take place later this month with twenty-five artists competing from across the Balkans.
The first edition of Biser Jadrana is set to take place on June 29 in Tivat, Montenegro, with the event being broadcast live by the Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG. Biser Jadrana (Pearl of the Adriatic) is a music festival and contest for the region, with over 100 songs submitted to compete in this year’s event.
Twenty-five artists have been selected from Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and North Macedonia. The participants are:

Among the participants are a number of singers who have competed in the Eurovision Song Contest:
- Bane Nedović – Represented Serbia & Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005
- Daniel Popović – Represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1983
- Igor Cukrov – Represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009
- Stevan Faddy – Represented Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007
- Vanja Radovanović – Represented Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018
A number of songwriters have also competed in Eurovision:
- Elena Risteska – North Macedonia – Eurovision 2006
- Mia Dimšić – Croatia – Eurovision 2022
- Danijel Alibabić and Marko Prentić as part of No Name – Serbia & Montenegro – Eurovision 2005
All of the songs competing in the contest are original compositions which will be performed for the first time at the contest. The winner of Biser Jadrana 2024 will be awarded a prize of 10,000 Euros.
