Andria Putkaradze has won Ranina 2024 and will represent Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid.
The final of Ranina 2024 took place tonight and was hosted by Datuna Aladashvili and Vache Ghviniashvili. After weeks of performances, the three finalists competed for the chance to represent Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2024. As today was Georgian Independence Day, the finalists all sang patriotic songs originally composed by the late Georgian singer Gogi Dolidze.
The results of the evening were determined by a three member jury who assess the performers on four criteria: vocal, performance, artistry, and collaboration. On the jury were Dato Evgenidze and Nato Metonidze, the two permanent judges, and guest judge Nikoloz Rachveli. Up to 10 points can be awarded for each category. The exact scores were not revealed.

- Barbare Morgoshia – “Nushi”
- Andria Putkaradze – “K’idevats daizrdebin” – Winner
The song that Andria will perform in Madrid will be revealed at a later date.
Georgia was represented by Anastasia and Ranina at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with “Over the Sky”. They finished 14th out of 16 entries with 74 points. This is the joint worst performance for Georgia at the contest alongside 2019.

Georgia has won the contest on three occasions, making them the country with the joint highest number of victories throughout the history of the contest. Georgia debuted in JESC in 2007 with Mariam Romelashvili and her song “Odelia Ranuni”, where she placed 4th with 116 points. Their first win was just a year later in 2008, with the trio Bzikebi and their song “Bzz”. Their second win was in 2011 with the group Candy and their song “Candy Music”. Most recently in 2016, eleven-year-old Mariam Mamadashvili performed her song “Mzeo” in JESC 2016 host city Malta, and took the victory with 239 points.
