๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Eurovision 2025: Geneva Aims to Host Eurovision 2025

Geneva is the first city to state it is interested in hosting in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

RTS has reported that the Palexpo Geneva โ€œhas alreadyโ€ submitted an application file to the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR) in cooperation with the city of Geneva. The venue has been working for several weeks with the local government in Geneva to work on preliminary plans for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest.

According to a press release to Swiss media, the Palexpo states; โ€œNearly 32,000 m2 can accommodate nearly 15,000 spectators.โ€ It adds that it would make all three of its convention centres available to accommodate the competition.

In addition, Le Temps reports that an extraordinary meeting of SRG SSR board will happen today to discuss Eurovision 2025. A task force for the contest will commence working on Monday.

Eurovision 2025

The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is set to be held in Switzerland following the victory of Nemo with โ€œThe Codeโ€. Switzerland won the Eurovision Song Contest for a third time, having won the 1956 and 1988 editions of the competition. In the coming weeks, discussions will take place with potential host cities across Switzerland.
