Due to a technical problem with voting in Ukraine’s national final, Vidbir, the results of the show will not be announced tonight.
Suspilne, the Ukrainian broadcaster, has announced the new plans for revealing the Ukrainian representative for Eurovision in a press release.
Voting will now remain open for Ukrainian citizens until tomorrow via the Diia app to select their preferred performer for the Eurovision Song Contest. At 14:15 CET, the Vidbir final will be shown again on television, with the voting lines open until the last act has performed.
From there, the voting will be closed. The results of the votes are expected to be announced in a live broadcast immediately after the repeat of the final, which is expected to be at 18:05 CET.
The Vidbir results were expected to be revealed at around 21:00 CET, after the competition had finished. However, technical problems with the voting have resulted in the competition not being able to produce a valid result.
As a result, fans will need to wait until tomorrow to discover who will be representing Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

The winner of Vidbir 2024 will succeed TVORCHI as Ukraine’s Eurovision representatives. They performed “Heart of Steel” at the 2023 contest in Liverpool, United Kingdom, finishing in 6th place overall.

Ukraine first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, when Oleksandr Ponomariov performed “Hasta la vista”. The following year Ruslana brought the country their first win with the song “Wild Dances”. It was a feat that would be replicated in 2016 by Jamala with her song “1944”. Her emotionally charged song scored a record 534 points to take victory in Stockholm. Kalush Orchestra gave Ukraine their third victory in 2022 with “Stefania”. Ukraine is the last remaining country with a 100% semi-final qualification record.
