One name that will be familiar to both Azerbaijani and Eurovision fans is Aisel, who represented the nation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. She sang โ€œX My Heartโ€ at the contest, but came 11th in her semi-final, meaning she became the first Azerbaijani entrant not to qualify for the Grand Final at the contest.

TuralTuranX represented Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2023 with the song โ€œTell Me Moreโ€. They finished 14th in the first semi-final with 4 points, leaving Azerbaijan out of the final for the second time in history and the first time since 2018.
