The Greek national broadcaster, ERT, has reportedly confirmed that there will be no televised national final to select Marina Satti’s song for Eurovision 2024, as the singer has received more than 50 songs so far.

According to reports by Greek media outlet, Typologies, ERT has reportedly confirmed it will not host a national final to select Marina Satti’s song. The reasons behind this decision come down to Marina’s fame, as well as, the broadcaster’s current financial and economic condition which has ultimately led to this decision.

While the idea of a Greek national final has been halted, it is being reported that more than 50 songs have so far been submitted for Marina Satti, according to Super Katerina. Some of the songs submitted have been sent by “well-known” musicians.

The song submission window for Greece remains open until December 1st. Marina Satti and her team are currently hard at work behind the scenes on preparations for Greece’s performance in Malmö next May.
