A new Nordic Eurovision Pre-Party, the ‘Nordic Eurovision Party’ has been announced, that will kick start from 14th April 2024.
The ‘Nordic Eurovision Party’ will become the newest pre-party for the Eurovision season with artists of the 2024 season, fans and press coming together, just like, Madrid, Barcelona, Tel-Aviv, London and Amsterdam.
However, unlike all current pre-parties, the Nordic Eurovision Party will rotate between the Nordic countries: a different Nordic city each year, to allow more accessibility for the Nordic Eurovision fans.
The team behind the Nordic Eurovision Party had this to say:
“After having won the contest a total of 14 times (Sweden at 7 wins, Denmark and Norway at 3 wins and Finland at 1) and giving the Europeans hits each year, we are ready and happy to invite Europe to the first Nordic Eurovision Party.”
The first edition of the Nordic Eurovision Party will begin on Sunday 14th April next year in the city of Stockholm, Sweden at the 4-star boutique hotel BERNS. The event doors will open from 7 pm and start at 8 pm.
There will be two different tickets for the Nordic Eurovision Party, which are listed below:
- Eurofans Tickets (early entry, standing, collector’s lanyards included) are priced around 800SEK (limited availability).
- General Entrance (standing) priced at 600SEK.
OGAE members will be able to secure a limited amount of General Entrance tickets at a reduced price. The OGAE discount code will be sent via each national club. Only 300 of these tickets will be available.
Once the show has finished, there will be an after-party for press, fans and all the artists, with an exclusive area for all Eurovision participants. Accredited press for the Nordic Eurovision Party will have chances to speak with the contestants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 at the “Meet the Press” event that will begin at 2 pm until 6 pm in the meeting rooms and terrace of the Hotel BERNS, to allow for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for both press and delegations.
Tickets will be on sale from October 21st at 7 p.m. on the official website nordiceurovision.com.
The announcement of the new Nordic Eurovision Party comes after the success of Sweden, Finland and Norway at Eurovision 2023; with all three placing in the Top 5, with Sweden winning, Finland in second and winning the televote and Norway rounding off in 5th.
