The final version of “Ohne Worte” the German entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 has been released.
Broadcaster KiKa has released the full studio recording of “Ohne Worth”, in which singer FIA will represent Germany at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Nice. She won the German national selection for Junior Eurovision 2023 last month. The singer won both the jury and public votes. The first minute of the song was released just after Fia’s participation announcement.
The full version of the song was recorded following Fia’s victory in the German selection. 11-year-old FIA is set to be the first-ever artist at Junior Eurovision to showcase a song with Sign Language, after being inspired to do so by her sister. She uses International Signs, a universal lingua franca-esque sign language, that most people in the deaf community can understand.
In the last chorus, the pre-recorded backing vocals translate the phrase “Ohne Worte’ in Dutch (Zonder woorden) and Spanish (sin palabras).
Junior Eurovision 2023
Junior Eurovision 2023 will be held at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice, France, and the final will air on Sunday 26 November at 16:00 CET.
Estonia is debuting in the contest, while Germany is returning to the JESC fold after one year away. As a result, the “Big Five” (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) will all be competing in Junior Eurovision for the very first time.
The sixteen countries that have been confirmed to take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 are: Albania, Armenia, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Germany made their debut at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2020. They were represented by Susan with the song “Stronger with You”, scoring 66 points, finishing 12th and last. In 2021 Pauline performed “Imagine Us” and finished 17th with 61 points.
