Tonight the Netherlands will select its entry for the 21st edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Nice, France.
The final of Junior Songfestival 2023 takes place this evening in Rotterdam, as the Netherlands selects for Junior Eurovision. Four acts are competing to represent the Netherlands in Nice, and have been preparing for the past couple of months for the competition.
The four acts are:
- Joy! – “Better Together”
- Sep & Jasmijn – “Holding On to You”
- Flare – “Side by Side”
- Duron – “Magic”
The winner will be chosen by 1/3 kids jury voting, 1/3 professional jury and 1/3 public voting. The kids jury is formed of:
- Luna – Represented the Netherlands in Junior Eurovision 2022
- Mixed Up – Runners-up in Junior Songfestival 2023
The professional jury features:
- Soy Kroon – Actor and singer
- Sosha Duysker – TV presenter
- MEAU – Singer-songwriter
The show is being hosted by two past Dutch Junior Eurovision participants. Matheu Hinzen represented the Netherlands in 2019 and Stefania competed in 2016 and went on to represent Greece in Eurovision in 2020 and 2021. You can watch the show live from 19:20 CET on NPO 3.
