Kalush, known as Kalush Orchestra who represented Ukraine and won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, have released a new single “That’s Lviv”.
“That’s Lviv”, along with their upcoming album, is a collaboration with Ukrainian pop rock band, Skryabin. KALUSH has revealed that this new single is the first song to be released from their upcoming mini album that will be released on the 3rd of November.
Speaking on their new song, Kalush go to say:
“(That’s Lviv) is the first composition from this album. I wanted to breathe new life into Skryabin’s song “That’s Lviv” so that not only everyone would remember it, but that it would be heard by both the older generation and the new generation.”
KALUSH have also revealed that their other songs from their new upcoming album will be revealed in due course.
Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with a grand total of 631 points. They now hold the record of receiving the highest televote points in the history of the contest, and also finished in 4th with the juries.
Kalush is a rap group formed in 2019, consisting of Oleh Psiuk (rapper), Ihor Didenchuk (multi-instrumentalist), and MC Kilimmen (DJ). Ihor is also a member of Go_A, who represented Ukraine at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. This year, Kalush launched the Kalush Orchestra, which focuses on rap and folk fusion music. Tymofii Muzychuk and Vitalii Duzhyk joined the core Kalush members for this project.
