Georgia’s Eurovision 2023 representative, Iru Khechanovi, has released a new single “Seen”.
Following her Eurovision participation Iru has released her latest single “Seen”. Iru released “Seen” on 15th June and performs the song in Georgian. Unlike her Eurovision 2023 song, “Echo”, her new single is in a different genre to her entry; being in an R&B style. You can listen to her new single in the link below:
Iru Khechanovi represented Georgia at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, which was held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine, where Loreen took the victory for Sweden. Georgia performed 11th in the Second Semi Final but did not qualify for the Grand Final.
Iru placed 12th out of 16 countries, gaining 33 overall televote points; with the Armenian public giving Georgia their 12 points. Despite not qualifying, “Echo” has recently become the most streamed Georgian Eurovision entry on Spotify, which you can read about here.

Georgia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. They were represented by Sopho Khalvashi and the song “Visionary Dream”. Sopho finished 12th in the final scoring 97 points. The song received 12 points from the televoters in Lithuania. Their best result was a 9th place in both 2010 and 2011. Georgia has only ever missed one contest since their debut. This was in 2009 when they had selected Stephane & 3G with “We Don’t Wanna Put In”. The EBU asked for Georgia to rewrite the lyrics of the song or change the song completely.
