Tonight Georgia will select their representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Nice, France.

The final of the Georgian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place this evening. Five young performers are competing in Ranina, all hoping to be named the winner and represent Georgia in Nice, France this November.

The hopefuls competing to represent Georgia in Nice are:

  • Tako Tomashvili
  • Soso Chachua
  • Anastasia Berishvili
  • Anastasia Vasadze
  • Gabriel Lomsadze

This is the first time in Ranina’s history that five acts are competing in the final, with contest rules having previously only allowed three finalists.

The winner will be chosen by a jury formed of three music professionals who will vote after each performance awarding up to 40 points each. They score each act based on four categories: vocal, performance, artistry, and collaboration. Up to 10 points can be awarded for each category. The exact scores will not be revealed, with the winner being announced at the end of the show.

Junior Eurovision 2023

France won the 20th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan with Lissandro and “Oh Maman!”. He scored a total of 203 points placing ahead of second-placed Armenia. The contest will be held in Nice on November 26.
