Details of Brunette’s outfit for Eurovision 2023 have been released, as the singer releases new music ahead of Liverpool.
Brunette has released new music as the singer gets closer to the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. During the past weekend, the singer released her new songs “Arevin mot” (Close to the sun) and “Dimak” (Mask). During the show, she also performed a new version of “Future Lover”:
Regarding Brunette’s outfit for the stage in Liverpool, Narek Jhangiryan, the designer of Brunette’s outfit, revealed that the clothing elements of Armenians through history inspired the creation process. The creative team decided that the waist is the central detail in the clothing of ancient Armenians, which informed the belt which is a key element of her outfit.
The dress will have a metallic detail over her heart, which is inspired by the lyrics “her heart caught in chains.” The upper elements of the dress are inspired by “Mother Armenia” monument. AMPTV explains that:
Brunette’s dress reflects her complex state of mind, as inner panic binds her and her dress blocks her movement. In contrast, her pants allow for free movement and secure monumentalism, while the colours remain minimalistic.

Armenia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has participated every year since, excluding 2012 and 2021. Armenia’s best results came in 2008 and 2014 when they finished 4th in the final. They have failed to qualify for the final on three occasions. The first time was in 2011 when Emmy finished in 12th with “Boom Boom”, she was 1 point away from qualifying for the final. In 2019, Srbuk finished 16th in her semi-final with “Walking Out”, bringing Armenia their worst result to date in the contest.
