Tonight Germany will select their representative for the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
From 22:20 CET, Germany will select its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Ten artists are competing to represent Germany in Liverpool, and are performing this evening live from Cologne.
The running order is as follows:
- TRONG – “Dare to Be Different”
- René Miller – “Concrete Heart”
- Anica Russo – “Once Upon a Dream”
- Lonely Spring – “Misfit”
- Will Church – “Hold On”
- Patty Gurdy – “Melodies of Hope”
- Ikke Hüftgold – “Lied mit gutem Text” (Song with good lyrics)
- Frida Gold – “Alle Frauen in mir sind müde” (All the women in me are tired)
- Lord Of The Lost – “Blood and Glitter”
The winner of Unser Lied für Liverpool will be chosen by 50% public voting and 50% jury voting. The public vote is formed of online, phone and SMS voting. While the jury voting is formed of eight international juries with five members each, the juries are:
- Switzerland
- The Netherlands
- Finland
- Spain
- Lithuania
- Ukraine
- Austria
- United Kingdom
Unser Lied für Liverpool will be held at 22:20 CET on March 3 in the MMC Studios in Cologne. The show will be presented by Barbara Schöneberger and broadcast live on Das Erste, ARD Mediathek, and eurovision.de.
The BossHoss and Ilse DeLange will perform as the interval acts of Unser Lied für Liverpool. Ilse DeLange is known to Eurovision fans because she is part of the Dutch duo, The Common Linnets, who finished second place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The BossHoss and Ilse DeLange will perform their new single “YOU” during the show.
