RTVE has released a breakdown of the exact number of votes cast for each participant in the final of Benidorm Fest 2023.
A total of 34,997 votes were cast during the Grand Final of Benidorm Fest 2023, with less than 400 votes between the public favourite and second favourite. Of the nearly 35,000 votes, 24,553 votes were cast via SMS and 10,444 were cast via telephone.
The results were as follows:
- Blanca Paloma – “Eaea” – 9,898 votes (28.28%)
- Agoney – “Quiero arder” (I want to burn) – 9,515 (27.19%)
- Vicco – “Nochentera” (The Entire Night) – 6,030 (17.23%)
- Megara – “Arcadia” – 2,908 (8.31%)
- Karmento – “Quiero y duelo” (I want and I hurt) – 2,371 (6.77%)
- Fusa Nocta – “Mi familia” (My family) – 1,755 votes (5.01%)
- Alice Wonder – “Yo quisiera” (I would like) – 1,543 votes (4.41%)
- José Otero – “Invierno en Marte” (Winter on Mars) – 977 votes (2.79%)
A total of 1,887,000 viewers watched the final of Benidorm Fest 2023 with a share of 14.7%, this is a decrease of just under 1.1 million viewers and 6.3% share compared to the 2022 edition. During the course of the evening 5,211,000 viewers watched at least one minute of the broadcast.
Blanca Paloma will represent Spain in Liverpool with “Eaea” after receiving the highest combined points total. The results were as follows:
- Blanca Paloma – “Eaea” – 1st place – 169 points
- Agoney – “Quiero arder” (I want to burn) – 2nd place – 145 points
- Vicco – “Nochentera” (The Entire Night) – 3rd place – 129 points
- Megara – “Arcadia” – 4th place – 106 points
- Alice Wonder – “Yo quisiera” (I would like) – 5th place – 89 points
- Karmento – “Quiero y duelo” (I want and I hurt) – 6th place – 80 points
- José Otero – “Invierno en Marte” (Winter on Mars) – 7th place – 75 points
- Fusa Nocta – “Mi familia” (My family) – 8th place – 71 points

Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since, making them the longest participating country that has never withdrawn. Spain has won the contest on two occasions; the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
