Eurovision alumni Aram MP3 has been added to the hosting line-up for the Junior Eurovision 2022 Opening Ceremony.
Yesterday it was confirmed that Dalita Avanessian and Hamlet Arakelyan would host the Opening Ceremony for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Aram MP3, who represented Armenia at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, will also take on the role of host.
Dalita represented Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 when the contest was last in Yerevan with “Welcome to Armenia”. Hamlet Arakelyan is a television presenter, radio host and presenter.
The opening ceremony will take place on Monday 5th December at 16:00 CET, and will be broadcast live. The event is being held n Republic Square and will feature the 16 participants in this year’s contest on the Red Carpet.
Junior Eurovision 2022
Following Maléna’s victory in Paris, the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan will host Junior Eurovision 2022 on December 11. The same venue also hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, which was the first Eurovision event in history to be hosted in Armenia. The venue can host between 6,000 and 8,000 people for large concerts. The venue is only the second to have hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest twice, after Minsk Arena in Belarus.
